Symons started in 1986. We have been helping businesses and organisations like yours for a while now and we look forward to helping you as we go into the future together.

Symon Business Equipment is owned by Dan and Angela Griffiths. We feel humbled that you are considering us to become your print and copier supplier.

We want you to know that we appreciate that and we believe that we can deliver you a solution that offers your organisation fantastic value for money using the latest technology to enhance your print, copy and scan capabilities.

    Director and Administration Manger

    Angela is the glue in our organisation and always has her finger on the pulse. She has a background in nursing and paediatric care, previously working in the Palmerston North Hospital Children’s Ward and Neonates. She has a special way with children (they call her the child whisperer) and just loves holding babies and looking after the grandchildren.  In her spare time Angela enjoys quilting, camping, geocaching and spending time with family.  She has a passion for helping people and especially our customers.     Director and Sales

    Dan can help you with anything to do with the product and offer you with some good sound advice. He has been in the industry for around 20+ years.  Dan has a good understanding on the modern working office and can assist you with some different ideas that will result in a more cost effective solution.  He supports Liverpool Football Club, loves family, camping and the outdoors.  Dan is also a member of the Feilding Brass Band playing solo cornet. You may have even heard him playing the Last Post around the district.  Look out for him in the front row at their concerts.     Tania joins us with a wealth of experience in Admin, Health and Safety and thrives on projects. We are wrapped she decided to come on board and we are sure you will get to experience her enthusiasm and bubbly personality.  Tania gets things done and really enjoys helping people so was a perfect fit for us.  In her spare time she enjoys family and geocaching .. if youre not sure what that is, call and ask her!

    Richard has a cheeky smile, will work harder for any opportunity to help the customer than anyone I know, and on top of that is a genuine nice guy. He is also someone who you tend to remember, being the 6 foot 7 inch (just over 2 meters) gentleman that he is. Richard tends to aquaint himself well with most doorways, and in most cases, he lets them go first. He is our sales guy, and is out there everyday doing what he can to uncover ways to help our many customers and possible clients.     John (JP as we call him), has a wealth of experience.  He commenced his working life with a background in servicing televisions, working then on a wide range of electronic products through to specializing in production print machines and office photocopiers.  He has a particular skill in uncovering the difficult issues or problems and fixing them in a fast and reliable fashion.  He is passionate about finding out the whys and the hows to resolve any issues that may arise.  Please do not hesitate to ask any questions to JP, he is more than happy to explain the workings of your photocopier.   JP has lived all of his adult life in Palmerston North so a lot of you may know him.  His children - Josh and Emma, keep him busy most weekends with following them around in their different sports.  email: john.petch@symonbusiness.co.nz

    Technical Genius

    Dave has a canny knack for getting to the bottom of issues quickly and just getting the job done! He has a vast background of repairing and fixing things, with a keen interest in IT and any gadget that takes his fancy. He finds that friends and family are quick to call when they need something sorted. Of course being the techy that he is, he spends loads of time talking to Alexa, and has been known on occasion to offer his opinion back !   • Ernie

    Ernie joined us in May 2020 and business has not been the same since. He is very busy and can be found chilling out or welcoming you all as you pop in and see us. Ernie is fast becoming an expert in his field and is more than happy to answer any questions you may have. He does enjoy hanging out with family, or running about chasing small round bouncy things to bring back to us. His happy go lucky attitude is a real asset to us and contributes with his positive outlook.
